SUYEMATSU FARMS

Picture

Suyematsu Farms offers a farmstand on Day Road on Bainbridge island. The stand is a cooperative effort of several local farmers. The original Suyematsu Farm has a long history on the island, one that dates back to the early decades of the 20th century. Currently several local farmers have been working with Akio Suyematsu, and the farm land that remains has been preserved for agricultural use in perpetuity through a trust with the city of Bainbridge Island.
